What am I playing now

I am starting to make a series of games and this is one. This cribbage board is made from red elm. Now I will preface this with I am not making "normal" game boards. This is a prototype of a drop floor box. When the first pin makes it to finish hole and is inserted, all the other playing pieces will drop into the box for the ultimate win.

Double skunk mark at the 60

Single skunk at the 90

Again this is just t he start to a game box that will hold cards pins etc, with an interesting twist when you win. This is not sanded or cleaned up in any way yet as I have a lot of things to do on it yet to work on the mechanism.

Keep watching for updates and if I can do something for you let me know.

Last Weekend show pics

If you see anything you like in these images, have questions about any of the items, drop me a note and I will get back with you. We may still have the item of interest. If its gone I can make another one for you. If you follow this blog occasional you may see some things from the past. I do make more of the items if they are popular.

Finally complete

I've had a busy month with a lot of things going on. I have a couple projects yet that I am finishing up for a few people and getting ready for Harvest Fest in Cedarburg WI later this month.
These, I finally had a chance to finish out completely.

You will notice I have been working on these for a bit. A lot of interruptions and little projects jumping up here and there.

These are for me and to take to sell at shows, so paying jobs take precedence over my little things.

Don't get me wrong these things take a long time to machine. Around 6 hours each of machine time alone, not to mention the joining, sanding, finishing etc.. See earlier post how they were made.

Vessel 1, 2, and 3

If you would like something like this or something similar let me know and lets get one started for you today.
