How hard is is to find wood with perfectly placed III's in them? It's amazing what you can find in trees.... ;)

I am going to be making Custom drawer fronts...

I am going to be making drawer fronts with either the Greek helmet or with the III centered in the drawer. inlayed or engraved.

Just so you can see so far. I am machining inlays at the moment but will cut real part in a few minutes.

 

And yes depths will be mapped to the surface curvature.

 

Someone said they wanted a claymore wall plaque?

Ok here is the prototype. Inlays not cut in yet and no engraving which means a blank piece of paper.

I thought "point towards tyranny" with the I I I inlaid flush with curved surface.

Fly Fishing Lure Boxes

 

 

 

Lined with Foam on one side to stab your hooks into, felt on the other. Engraved with the III on one side and a Trout or perhaps something else of your choice on the other.

Designed to fit in Shirt Breast pocket, hinged, and with magnet closure.

I will be making these from Cherry inlaid with Walnut or Purple Heart woods, and from Maple with the same inlays. I have 3 available now but will be making a limited number depending demand. They will all be numbered, have hanging hooks and felt pads with no less than 10 coats of a water based polyurethane.
