Heard any cool rumors?

I am excited to say I have been commissioned to make these.
These pictures are  not sanded or finished in any way but I was excited to post this.
This was the prototype.

How cool is that. It is quite an honor to be doing these. I really appreciate the opportunity.

Their anniversary is this fall and these will be presented as gifts for their members.

With another project for my friend Mike in Michigan below.

We have a workable deadline but it will be a busy couple weeks for these.

Need something like this? drop me an email at

Finished Double Box

I finished the double box from the other day. Wife has a craft fair this weekend, but it is for sale should anyone want it.

Again it is birdseye maple lids, with black walnut base.

Base features an undercut, I haven't decided on what I wanted to line it with yet. Velvet or suede sounds like a good idea to me.

Most of the work I do is custom. So let me know what you are looking for.
Thank you. -Bill

Birdseye Maple and Walnut

I have not made a box in a while so I had to get it out of my system.
Fully radiused vertical box brims.
Pick on the pictures to see the birds eye. its tough to get images that show it., Once stained it should show better .

Never made a double box before either.

Matching Lids

Box features Undercut compartments
Also fully radiused lids walls as well. Those little tabs you see on the inside of the lid rest on the base lips. You can actually make out the birdseye in that image.

I will post finished pictures up in a few days.
