Quick Floating clock update

Got a longer tool so I could make a second Hidey Hole in the back. So it now has two small places to keep something out of sight.

 

 

This new pocket is the area behind the clock face.

 



 

Both will have covers that are removable. Just need some time to get them cut out.

Old School weather station.... with hidden element

2 inches thick black walnut with hard maple inlays.

 

 

This is right off machine not sanded in any way as of yet.

Gauges can be mounted vertical or horizontal.

 

The hidden element with be the back will have a cavity with magnetic closure. similar to the previous post with the clock.

 



 

There is still a lot to do with this one yet but will post I will post up the finished result as I get it done.

New tooth fairy boxes

These are just a little bigger with a place to keep the tooth and a place to place a dollar bill folded or coins,

 

 

These are specific to some kids, but I can make you something custom to you too.

 

Note the rare Earth magnets. That is the closing mechanism, and it does work quite well.

Floating Clock

I had a chance to work on this clock again.

It still needs sanding and finishing yet but I wanted to share.

 

Brazilian Cherry, curly Aspen, set in a quadrant of a Yellow Block Burl

There is a hidey hole in the back to keep some small items out of sight.

Such a natural beauty

 

It does function as a small shelf as well
