And there your sign(s)

Busy weekend designing and making some signs for upcoming show this weekend.
I couldn't decide if the dog sign should of read exercise or exorcist.

Minus the poochie sign, its really a garden themed set.

My dad brought me over the bottom fish and said " I bet you cant make that", I think I matched it pretty well.

So then I had to go one bigger. The 32 inch Northern Pike Bowl set

Making Dust

And There's your bowl!

Thanks for looking More to come soon.

Puppy Urn

This will soon be the final resting place for a greyhound dog.

We met a lady in Cedarburg that was almost in tears about her dog. Losing these beasts is a terrible thing. Might as well rip your heart out. Every time we lost a dog, we always said no more. My philosophical sense in me told my wife, "If we don't get another dog, It will still be alive anyway, just without our loving home. We are better off getting another one."
This will be my philosophy until I am dead, with the other caveat that all dogs need other dogs. One must have a good Brace of dogs to be whole in my opinion. Not only will they love you and protect you... all of them, they will love and protect each other more than a human can.

This is right off the machine no sanding or anything. It will get finished up this weekend so old girl can get out of her metal tin and in to a soft warm place.

This is a pretty big box for me to make depth wise and did take a few hoops to jump through.
Its overall size is 6x6x5.25 inches.

More images to follow once complete. sorry for getting philosophical on all of us tonight.

ignore the tooth fairy boxes behind... those are a PITA as they are so small. :) jeez can nothing make me happy? IM KIDDING LOL!

The Purple Heart Sister box to the Bubinga Box

Purpleheart, Mahogany, and Hickory knot.
Finished natural with 14 coats of finish on lid and wet sanded to a high luster.

Purpleheart inside tray with elliptical pattern dividers.
storage underneath for larger items.

Here they both are together. I made the purpleheart box the same time I did the bubinga one. just never finished it. Honestly I never really tried to sell these too hard before this last weekend.

These can be purchased singly or as a pair. I would make deal on the two as I think they belong in the same home myself.

These are still available but I don't think they will make it through the next craft fair coming up in Williams Bay at the end of July. They aren't that expensive but aren't that cheap either. email me and lets see if we can come together.

This is also made from Canary Wood Mahogany. This is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches thick box.
It features a small glass vial in a machined area containing  small wishbones and says wishes on it.

There that vial is.

I made a few of these and have one left. You can have this one or I can make another one with your choice of materials or..... perhaps something unique for you? You tell me what you need.

Inspirational Tag Boxes

These small memento boxes are all made from black walnut. Lined with felt they measure 5 3/4 x 2 7/8 by 1 3/4 deep.

Sayings include, "enjoy the journey", "live the life you imagined", "life is about creating yourself", "dream as if you'll live forever", "encourage your hopes and not your fears", "possibility begins with imagination", "capture lifes moments", "embrace imperfection", " reality has limits, imagination is boundless", "know in your heart you are loved", "the journey awakens the soul"

The embrace imperfection is the one that is mounted crooked. all others are aligned properly.

Thank you. -Bill

The Dragonfly

This was something new for me design wise. Thinking a bit different. I originally visualized this on a man's desk for pocket items. I felt this way because of the rugged look to the materials. After it was assembled though, I can see this hanging on the wall as a hiding place for something.

I left the knot intentionally in that place because it is so nice.

You're probably wondering what these woods are. Hickory, African Mahogany, and a purple heart strip.

Pivots open in one direction, and closes when rotated the other.

Interested? billsbilletboxes@gmail.com

Thank you for looking. I appreciate all the emails. -Bill

Compass CAM lock box

Everyone, meet Canary Wood! Canary Wood say hi to everyone!
It is a gorgeous wood. so many colors going on in here. This box features African mahogany, and Canary wood. Well and I guess some hard maple for the cam lock device.

Finished in natural color with water based finishes. You can see the cam there one edge installed in the lid.

Rotate the compass face on lid with fingers and cam engages and disengages in an undercut in the base of the box.

I have these two available. It can be made from any species of wood(s) desired.
Box measures 7 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 2 3/4 inch.

email me please if you have an interest,
